Asheridge Communications, one of the UK`s top providers of custom installation technologies and components, will be showcasing new developments in brand-leading multi-room av, cabling, connectors and switching equipment at ISE 2008. The company will also be using the event as a platform to establish new business relationships and grow its expanding European distribution network, especially for its popular ZUN multi-room audio system.

On the strength of increasing UK sales, an exciting new product introduction programme and a commitment to providing effective solutions and technical support for its customers, Asheridge is keen to expand beyond the UK into Europe`s fast-growing custom installation sector. The company is inviting like-minded distribution companies to its Stand at ISE to see the latest offerings from renowned brands headed by ZUN and also including PureLink, MuxLab and SCION Technology and discuss business opportunities for these and other brands handled by Asheridge.

The ZUN range, manufactured by US-based Oxmoor Corporation, offers an affordable way for European installers to offer out-of-the-box multi-room audio to their clients. The ZUN ZAS-430 offers six-zones of audio and features a stylish LCD display for effortless control, while the compact ZAS-130 presents a space saving four-zone option. Both choices are modular solutions which can be easily expanded to suit customer requirements for additional zones, as required. Easy to install and offering proven reliability and performance, ISE visitors will see how the ZAS-430 and ZAS-130 units may also be integrated with new or existing audio systems.

Other products on show will include the PureLink range of DVI matrix routers. These robust and versatile digital video switching units, the first of their kind, span from the simple 2:1 HDTV home entertainment router right through to the commercially focused DS-1818M which allows the control of up to eighteen or more digital displays.

Also on display will be the Pro9000 video switching range from SCION Technology. The Pro 9000 can handle  UXGA, Component HD, S-Video, Composite Video and Stereo Audio and can even distribute HD sources (up to 1080p), sending all signals over CAT5e or CAT6 cable. The PRO-9000 series includes one-to-one extenders, multiple screen distribution hubs, high impedance taps and an 8x8 switch and is capable of broadcasting high quality video, stereo audio, IR and RS232 over long cable lengths up to 300m.

Another key brand on the Asheridge Stand will be the MuxLab range. Including a choice of VGA Passive, Long Reach Active, Digital Audio and Stereo Hi Fi Baluns, PS2 Converters and HDTV Component Video Hub, the MuxLab range allows a huge variety of signal formats to be transmitted over single cables, helping to reduce installation times and save money. These products are also ideal for projects where an installer has pre wired with CAT5e cable and now wishes to add additional services at the data outlet plate.
